Facilities
The school is located on Barry Road in southern Platte County. The school was found in 1952 with the original building located along 73rd street near Platte Woods. When the enrollment grew to great, the district built Park Hill High School's current building on Barry Road, and the 72nd Street building became Park Hill Junior High. It is now Congress Middle School, the district's 1/2 7th and 8th grade school. The current building at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Barry Road opened in 1967.
The Park Hill campus has undergone a series of remodeling efforts within the last decade or so to upgrade or replace many of its aging facilities. In the late 1990s a new gymnasium was built on the west side of the building to replace the original gym, which is now used mainly for practices and school dances. Around this same time an auditorium was built adjacent to the new gym.
The Park Hill Aquatic Center is located next to the football complexx. Along with serving various community needs, it house the Park Hill and Park Hill South boys' and girl' swim teams, the Park Hill club waterpolo team, KC Sea Sprites synchronized swim team, and the Northland United club swim team.
